investment

Anyone who knows Adam knows that he ALWAYS needs more garage space, and here it is. We purchased this one-acre piece of property for the 30x40 metal building on it, and recieved the trailer & addition as a "bonus." Some may say it has potential and some may say it is a money pit; that has yet to be determined. We're happy with it so far and the kids now have a place to ride their wheelers and dirt bikes. It sure pays to check out those on-line auctions.

Tee Ball

Isaac's first year of tee-ball, so cute! He was probably the most enthusiastic player out there, meaning he wanted to catch EVERY ball hit into the field. Oh well, he had a lot of fun and learned a lot and got to play with his best friend Gideon. I also had fun because I got to be the assistant coach, I might even decide to coach again next year.

quadruple baptism

The kids and I have finally been baptized! We have found a family in Christ at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Mancelona. What a kind, loving and accepting family. I came to the church thanks to my good friend Jill. My mom and grandma came down for support and made it extra special. What a happy day!

Birthdays again!

Karlie and Isaac had combined birthday parties, spring break and Easter always get in the way of Karlie's, but she is very patient. They decided to have a swimming party as well. This party was much more relexed because I had two helpers and I only did cake and ice cream - no dinner. Doesn't the pile of dirt on Isaac's cake look like a pile of something else? No, I did not make the cakes, I bought them at the grocery store. Thank you to Amy Campbell and Gina Schultz for all your help.

new puppy

Our new puppy Lacey. She came with the name of Gracie, but when we couldn't put on our shoes without the dog playing tug-of-war, we decided to change it. Poor thing, all tired out after a long day of chewing:)

Birthday #8

I can hardly believe my baby is 8 years old! She decided to have a swimming and make-your-own pizza party. We used frozen dough balls for the individual crusts, they turned out better than I expected. The kids had a great time, but I was worn out. Thank goodness Jill came along with me to the pool, 10 heads is a lot to keep track of!

SANTA's here!

We always have a dinner with my family the night before Christmas and SOMEONE always makes an appearence. Here are my kids and my nephew showing off what he brought. This is also the night for our yearly family portrait, I actually like this picture. The other picture is of my tree at home, it looks a little bare there, but my dear husband change that. My gift from him was a huge box of about 30 Willow Tree Angel ornaments(my favorite)! What a great gift, I cried so hard.
