Searching for the perfect one

Every Thanksgiving we go out to Adam's grandpa Wilson's in Stonington to cut down a tree for Christmas. This was the first year we let the kids each pick out a tree for their own bedrooms.

Grandmas

This is a picture of my Grandmothers taken at Thanksgiving. On the left is my mom's mom and on the right is my dad's mom. Sorry you two I couldn't help it, this is such a nice picture of both of you.

Arts and crafts at Uncle Doug's to keep the kids busy while the women prepare Thanksgiving dinner.

Fancy Nancy Delenna

My friend had a Birthday party for her daughter Delenna, who was turning 6. Fancy Nancy is a character in a book that Delenna really enjoys. Fancy Nancy uses "fancy" French words and dresses in high heels, hats, colorful tights, boas, dresses, and anything else extravagant. She even wanted the men to dress fancy, what a sight we were, but what a great time. After dinner we all went bowling in our fancy clothes.

Isaac's preschool field trip to a local orchard. We were taken out to the field by hay wagon and each child was allowed to pick an apple from a tree and a "pumpkin" from a vine. What a cold day!

cute chicks

We went out to Stonington to visit Adam's grandfather, and what good timing! One of his chickens snuck off and hatched a batch of chicks just the day before. The kids had a great time and so did I.
